Exeter BSAC is Exeter’s longest established diving club. It was formed in 1952 and joined the British Sub Aqua Club after its formation in 1953. We are happy to welcome divers from any training agency and club to our own club house. We also train new divers to the BSAC’s high standards.
Exeter is well-positioned for diving Lyme Bay as well as Bigbury Bay and Plymouth Sound. Wrecks in Lyme Bay can be anywhere from 14m deep to over 50m. The Baygitano, a mile or so from Lyme Regis can have so many fish on it that it can be hard to see the wreck. The Maine near Salcombe and the James Egan Layne, whilst well known, are great wrecks on the South coast that we visit. The recently sunken Leander Class Frigate, the HMS Scylla is also proving very popular.
